NSW Building Commission: Building work rectification order
Building fire safety requirements under AS 1851-2012 — AS 1851-2012 relates to the routine service of fire protection systems and equipment. It sets out requirements for inspection, testing, preventive maintenance and survey of fire protection systems and equipment. From 13 February 2026, all new and existing class 1b and class 2 to 9 buildings in NSW must comply with AS 1851-2012.
